On 1st of November, Qingdao Qianwan bonded harbor opened officially. At 11 o’clock a.m., as the container trucks from Qingdao Bonded Logistics Park Qingdao Bondex FTZ Logistics Co.,Ltd.fully loaded with cargos passed through Lianwan bridge, Qingdao Qianwan bonded harbor area (project phase one) has achieved its all-round operation, realized the integration of bonded warehousing and the harbor.
The scope of Qingdao Qianwan bonded harbor area (project phase one) includes former Qingdao bonded logistics park, China Merchants Group wharf No.6 and No. 7 bulk cargo berth, the third phase of Qingdao Qianwan container terminal limited liability company. According to the introduction from concerning personage of Qingdao customs, the launch of new customs code 4258, realized the free flow of import and export goods within the scope of harbor area project phase one. Previously, the harbor and the boned storage area were managed by two different customs, the inbound/outbound goods has to pay Customs Transmit Charge (CTC) or applies for direct customs declaration process besides of making import or export goods customs declaration. Now, bonded logistics park and the harbor authorities have combined into one unit, the inbound and outbound goods from bonded logistics park are simplified into one application and one clearance, greatly simplified the customs formalities, enhanced the logistics speed, and promoted the progress of Qingdao bonded harbor area bonded logistics functions substantially.
