On August 5, 2023, the two-way cargo charter flight between Hefei and Dallas, US, collaboratively operated by Bondex Group and Suparna Airlines, made its first flight. The flight is a 747-400F full cargo aircraft with a capacity of up to 100 tons per flight, scheduled every Tuesday and Sunday.
It is reported that in 2022, the GDP of California, New York, and Texas in the United States accounted for almost one-third of the total economy. Texas is the second largest state in the United States after Alaska in terms of territorial area, and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas is the second largest airport in the United States. The Texas economy is mainly driven by industries such as advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, life sciences, aerospace, and defense. According to data from the Ministry of Commerce of China, Texas' total exports to China in 2021 were $21.1 billion, ranking first in the United States. China is Texas' third largest export market, mainly exporting oil, natural gas, chemicals, transportation equipment, computers, and electronic products. In 2021, Texas imported $34.7 billion goods from China, making China the second largest source of imports for Texas. The main imported goods include furniture, electric machinery, toys, game and sports equipment, plastics, transportation equipment, etc. The newly opened flight is conducive to the construction of a trade bridge between China and the United States, greatly promoting commercial exchanges between China and the United States. It will also provide better service to major e-commerce platforms, add assistance to China-made goods going overseas, and also effectively solve the problem of North American return supply chain capacity for local enterprises in Hefei, greatly improving logistics efficiency and reducing logistics costs.
